Specifically, it is the responsibility of the Alumni Relations Manager/Assistant Director to develop and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy that promotes community pride, volunteer involvement, philanthropic support, and lifelong connection to the school. The Alumni Relations Manager/Assistant Director will oversee alumni engagement opportunities, communications, and engagement platforms while supporting the alumni association and contributing to the growth of the school’s philanthropic pipeline and overall constituent participation.

The Director of Human Resources at OES is responsible for the overall leadership of the school’s HR function. OES employs roughly 250 regular and another 150 temporary and seasonal workers, with a compensation budget of over $20 million. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Head of School maintains dotted line supervision to the Director of Human Resources. On strategic matters, the Director of Human Resources works in close collaboration with the CFO and Head of School (HOS). On operational matters (e.g. talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations), the Human Resources Director partners with division and department heads, the Associate Head of School (AHoS), and other supervisors. The Human Resources Director is a member of the Business Office and is one of a team of two that runs the HR Office, which includes a HR Generalist who administers payroll and benefits. The Executive Assistant to the CFO rounds out the team in assisting with new employee onboarding and other administrative tasks. The Director must be a subject matter expert, a talented analyst, and possess the relational and technical skills to function and lead effectively in the role. Finally, the successful HR director will be culturally competent, able to handle sensitive issues with discretion and respect for all parties, and approach the work with a problem-solving, service orientation.

The Assistant/Associate Director of Advancement is a benefits-eligible, full-time 12-month position that works within the Office of Advancement and reports directly to the Director of Advancement. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00 pm, with flexibility as approved by supervisor and the Head of School. This position includes 10 vacation days and 10 PTO days annually. The primary goal of the Assistant/Associate Director of Advancement is to cultivate and steward constituent relationships, including leading the Annual Fund and supporting the Capital Campaign. The focus of this role is primarily in the areas of annual fundraising, Alumni relations, to maintain The Fay School’s donor database, and to offer event support. The Assistant/Associate Director of Advancement works with other staff to manage and support various activities, projects, and areas of the school that fall under the umbrella of advancement.

Epiphany School seeks a strategic, collaborative, and relationship-focused Major Gifts Officer (MGO) to join our team for the life of the Capital Campaign (~3 years). This position will manage, nurture, and enhance relationships with an individual portfolio of 100-125 prospects to improve probability of continued and increased support of Epiphany School. The MGO will build a major gifts program to identify, qualify, steward, and solicit prospects capable of making gifts of $50,000 or more towards the capital campaign. The MGO will collaborate with Development staff to ensure appropriate stewardship of major gifts donors. The position requires most of the time spent visiting with prospects.

The Communications and Marketing Manager coordinates all communications and marketing aspects of York School in partnership with the school’s marketing and communications consultants. Along with the Head of School, the Director of Enrollment, and the Director of Philanthropy, the Communications and Marketing Manager serves on York School’s Advancement Team, developing and implementing a broad, comprehensive, and strategic marketing and branding plan to promote the school, aligned with the school’s enrollment and philanthropy goals. The Communications and Marketing Manager will attend Board of Trustee Marketing and Enrollment Committee meetings as needed.
