The Counselor coordinates, consults, and collaborates with faculty, parents, administrators, and outsideresources to assist students in managing or remediating issues that are impeding them from leading emotionally and psychologically balanced lives and assisting them in taking full advantage of the educational and support opportunities at TMI. The Counselor initiates and participates in the development of programs that address personal development and/or school climate concerns.

This role fosters meaningful connections between Westover and its alumnae, families, and friends, oversees key volunteer programs, and develops initiatives that enhance constituent involvement.

A thorough understanding of selective college admissions processes and trends as they relate to financial aid, the visual and performing arts, and athletics, is a must, and experience as a classroom teacher is a bonus, but not a requirement.
